Apache Danforth, an enrolled member of the Oneida Nation in Wisconsin, stands as an accomplished entrepreneur and independent consultant, proudly steering the helm of Good Words Consulting, LLC (GWC) specializing in public relations, tourism development, strategic planning, project management, and business development. She also founded and owns Good Words Travel LLC, a receptive tour operation launched in January 2024.

In response to the critical needs of tourism development in Wisconsin’s Indigenous communities, GWC launched its Indigenous Tourism Division (ITD) in 2024, recognizing the significant economic growth potential in assisting Indigenous communities and entities with developing sustainable tourism projects rooted in their sovereignty and cultural heritage.
Background:
Apache's journey is enriched with years of dedicated service working with Tribal governments and leaders. Initially, as a Public Relations professional for the Oneida Nation, she played a pivotal role in public relations, media relations, and event planning. Later, as the Executive Director for Native American Tourism of Wisconsin (NATOW), Apache collaborated closely with all 11 sovereign Nations in Wisconsin, extending her reach to Tribes and Tribal organizations across the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. Her contributions included spearheading culturally appropriate marketing initiatives for Wisconsin Tribes on local, regional, national, and international platforms.
Apache brings forth a wealth of expertise derived from years of hands-on experience in the realms of public relations, tourism, strategic planning, project management, and communication initiatives. Apache's journey is enriched with years of dedicated service working with Tribal governments and leaders.
Residing on the Oneida Nation reservation adjacent to Green Bay, WI, Apache shares her life with her children, grandchildren, and significant other, Brian.
