
Jason W. Nichols
Jason Nichols is the Executive Director of the Forest County Potawatomi Gaming in Milwaukee, WI, where he manages the daily operations of the Commission. He earned his B.B.A. in finance from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK. He is an established business professional with many years of experience in Indian gaming regulatory and policy issues. His extensive gaming career began in college as a bingo sales clerk at his tribe’s gaming facility. Nichols was appointed to the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Gaming Operations Authority Board in 2002 and served the Nation as Deputy Commissioner of the Office of Public Gaming before being appointed as the Gaming Commissioner. Prior to his current position, Nichols served as the Deputy Director of the Arizona Indian Gaming Association (AIGA) in Phoenix, AZ and the Gaming Commissioner for Viejas Band of Kumeyaay Indians in Alpine, CA. Nichols received the Warrior’s Award in 2010 (for Lifetime Achievement as a champion in the cause of Oklahoma Indian Gaming). Nichols is an enrolled citizen of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation.
