Matt Peeler currently serves as Managing Director of USDA & Tribal Lending for Pathward, an FDIC-insured financial institution headquartered in Sioux Falls, SD with just under $8B in assets and one of the nation’s largest USDA renewable energy lenders. Matt is responsible for managing and developing Pathward’s Tribal Lending Program, which assists Tribes and Tribal-owned businesses nationwide with competitive financing offered under USDA, BIA, and DOE loan programs. In addition to guaranteed lending, Matt also has experience with New Market Tax Credits (NMTCs), Historic Tax Credits (HTCs), Investment Tax Credits (ITCs), and Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) financing. Pathward remains committed to supporting Tribal energy sovereignty and improving Tribal communities and infrastructure through affordable access to government loan programs.
