With a 25-year career that spans human resources, regulatory, and operations side of the gaming and lottery industry, Shondra DeLoach-Perea is a proven inspirational and transformational leader, diversity and inclusion champion and an advocate of “the power of we.” 

As a global leader across many business channels within IGT, she prides herself in thinking outside the box by identifying creative solutions to difficult situations, which stimulates her creativity as an innovative thought leader. Shondra is result oriented and she sets her standards high for optimal outcomes.

Shondra is a 2024 recipient of the “Patty Becker Pay it forward Award” through Global Gaming Women and she was nominated for “Role Model of the Year” by Women in Gaming in 2024. She was also honored with the “Innovation in Employee Engagement” award by Women In Gaming in 2021 and received the “Diverse and Inclusive Team” recognition by Women in Gaming in 2019.

In addition to her duties as a global IGT executive, Shondra is a passionate hands-on adviser who is involved in many IGT employee engagement programs. These programs include the Global Diversity Equity & Inclusion Council, the Las Vegas chapter of the Women’s Inclusion Network at IGT, where she formerly acted as the co-chair, and the NexGen Employee Impact Group, where she serves as executive sponsor.

Shondra is not only an active mentor at IGT, but a mentor for the greater Las Vegas community. She participates in Lean In Circles as a moderator for IGT and Global Gaming Women and holds a co-chair position for Global Gaming Women’s ’s DEI committee. She hosted IGT’s first tribal cultural and business appreciation event, which drives cultural awareness throughout the gaming industry. Shondra also is involved in the IGT Sustainability committee and Women in Sports and Events network. She participates in multiple initiatives to benefit the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) including the Battle Born YES program, panelist for Annual Young Women’s Leadership Conference, and the Executive Development Program in partnership with the University of Nevada, Reno.

Shondra was raised with a parent in the Air Force which afforded her the opportunity to see the world and experience diversity and change throughout her life. Being a woman of color, she shares the adversities she encountered to facilitate discussions and awareness.

Shondra strives to lead by example and her energy can be felt by those around her. In her free time, she enjoys speaking to underprivilege youth interested in pursuing careers in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics). Shondra holds an MBA and is a graduate of Yale School of Management’s Fostering Diversity and Inclusion Program. In 2022, she completed the Harvard Business Corporate Learning leadership program.
